Mum's Jamaican Restaurant

Its NOT cultural for all. However, I agree that SOME Jamaican restaurants have BAD customer service. Im jamaican and i get the same attitude. Hence why i have few jamaican friends. Ive seen the same @ Lees Kitchen. Not pleasant, cant smile. And if YOU smile and are friendly they look at you strange. SOME Jamaican people overall think its a joke or cute to be rude. But its no JOKE when you loose customers and ultimately business due to nasty attitudes. I have an associate who is the same way toward me and im her kind. Feels the need to be nasty and competitive, i will never understand why. So dont feel bad. As a JAMAICAN your point is valid.

Y'all buggin. They serve you your food, then you go. Southern hospitality is your culture, but it's mostly fake and for show. Don't expect everybody in the world to offer the same fronts. I love all my sisters at Mum's. They always show me respect and hefty portions of food that I don't get at any other Jamaican restaurant in NC.

I don't know what Roti is, but let me say, this is one of the best Jamaican Restaurants I've eaten at in my life! Good clean food!
